Sports Nutrition

Nutrition is one of the most important areas an athlete needs to focus on in sport. We use research based sports nutrition principles while keeping your personal needs, preferences, athletic history and goals in mind. We do not believe in cookie-cutter approaches and call upon the years of study/research and first hand experience in creating your individualized nutrition plan.
We offer nutrition consults as well as customized sports nutrition presentations for your athletic club or team.
Coaching
We offer coaching solutions for anyone who is a runner, cyclist, triathlete or swimmer! From stay at home mom’s looking to do their first 10km, to the blue collar executive looking for his age group spot in Kona we can help you.
Our coaching plans start with a dialogue sessions where we as the coach, and you as the athlete can see if we have the needed chemistry to create the synergy that is going to give you the greatest results you deserve. We do not believe in cookie-cutter programs- they are all fully customized to individually suit your goals, lifestyle, abilities and needs. Plans are delivered weekly and can be modified as needed. Communication with your coach is open to you as often as you would like.
From the weeks before your season begins to post race day recovery we are here to help you reach your goals.
Consulting
For those looking to get feedback on their current program or help in program design. Our job is to identify your concerns and help you change your program to get the results you are looking for. Consults can be done via email, Skype, or in person. This is ideal for self coached athletes, coaches, personal trainers, and other health care professionals. Areas of expertise include:

Testing
Services we offer:
- Lactate Balance Point Testing (FACT) (Bike & Run)
- Lactate Threshold Testing (Swim, Bike & Run)
- VO2 Max testing, with energy utilization & training zone definitions (Bike & Run)
- Heart rate (Swim, Bike, Run), power (Bike), and speed zones (Running & Swimming)
- User defined test batteries for sports teams
Group & Private Sessions
Undivided attention for an entire session, we can meet you for a swimming, cycling, running or core private session where you will work with us in a one-on-one setting. Groups up to 4 at a time can be accmoidated under special request.
